HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
Following the example of Saints Francis and Clare , with a heart totally united to Jesus we show our All-embracing Love by constantly interceding for the needs of the world. Though confined within the four walls of the Cloister, we, the Adorers go round the world on our wings of prayer

In 1958 the little band of Sisters with their Founding Mother Mary Clare Urban, bravely climbed the Nilgiri hills with their poor & meager belongings to enthrone Jesus on the Eucharistic Throne at the invitation of Reverend Bishop Antony Padiyara, Bishop of Ootacamund, who was convinced that a cloistered community of contemplatives & adorers with 24 hours of adoration, would be a spiritual support to the Church on the Nilgiris.

The little seed that was sown on the Nilgiri hills in 1958 has grown into a tree from which has spread its branches to two daughter-Houses in the Diocese of Changanachery - Kerala, and Mangalore, Karanataka.

Our hidden life is never at a stand-still with new arrivals and departures young hearts desiring to experience the Lord and challenging themselves to offer their lives totally. The spiritual life of our beloved Founders was strongly emphasized as we journeyed with St. Francis & St. Clare.
