Nestled between the magnificent Nilgiri Hills (Queen of the Hills or better known as the Blue Mountains), our little Poor Clare Cloister-home is surrounded with Tea Gardens which form an unending green carpet touching the blue skies. We belong to the Diocese of Ootacamund, South India. We are contemplative women sharing in the charism of St. Francis and St. Clare. We form a sisterhood centered in Eucharist, and committed to radical gospel living. Together we embrace a poor and humble lifestyle in total dependence upon God. |
